Right, as of yesterday qualification is complete, and now we know the 64 teams who will contest the fun and games of the Pool Play over the next two days!

Burrowed away behind the scenes, our competition-creating, scheduling and seeding geniuses have composed their masterpieces ahead of a hectic schedule of matches before the knockout games begin.

And remember this is a Major – the clue is in the name – it’s essential viewing and all the big names are here in Hamburg!

In the women’s pools, top seeds and home darlings Kira Walkenhorst and Laura Ludwig face competition from teams from Spain, Argentina and Kazakhstan.

They are one of six German teams in the women’s half of the draw and you just know the home fans will be going crazy in a bid to get their favorites off to the best possible start.
